Today I accomplished a dream

I don't always aim high in life. In fact, I've found that I can accomplish far more in life if I just make my goals simple enough. Like, goal 1) Wake up each morning. Or make it a little more hefty if I'm feeling especially bold 2) wake up when the alarm goes off. or for those especially good days... this doesn't happen too often: 3) get out of bed when the alarm goes off, without hitting the snooze button first. By aiming low I can feel productive and accomplished every day of my life.

So, three years ago I decided I wanted to own a new vehicle. For most this may be a BMW, or an Acura, or a hummer... Heck! I don't know. You fill in your own blank. For me, my dream was to own a scooter. Yes, I am speaking of the "I'm too weak to own a motorcycle so I'll let people laugh at me on this" scooter.

Well, today my dream came true. I bought a retro scooter. And to top if off, it's pink. Yes, pink. Just because Why go with a color that is fitting to me?

So, the picture of it doesn't show me on the scooter. Why? Because I am not nearly as entertaining to look at on a pink scooter as my friend Pete who actually found this scooter for me. He rode my pink scooter from the cycle shop to my house to deliver it to me. Yep, 12 miles of him being laughed at, honked at, and harrassed in all other manners for riding a very feminine scooter. He is a very secure man to be willing to do this.
